Right Approach to M.Com

The Masters of Commerce program available at COBMEC, Mody University has a career oriented approach so that the students do not feel lost and directionless after completing the degree course. It is divided into two years i.e. four semesters. The structure and design of this course is different from the conventional that most of the Commerce Colleges in India have adapted. The program incorporates descriptive research oriented study modules associated to varied subjects of Commerce and Management along with the wide range of electives.

The curriculum has been designed keeping in mind the exposure and knowledge that the students require, in relation to the dynamic global business. The curriculum integrates both the aspects – industry and academia. Research papers, internships, organizational interactions and projects everything is take care of so as to diminish the gulf between practice and theory. These practical aspects are neglected by many of the M.Com Colleges in India which is why students suffer after passing out, as they only gain theoretical aspect and hence remain unemployable.

At COBMEC, the M.Com program is meant to equip the graduates with the ample expertise and capability of tackling matters related anything related to accounts, audit, finance, banking and taxation. The program is rigorous so as to enable the students to face every challenge in the field of business and commerce. By the end of this program, the students acquire the knowledge of finance and accounting. They also witness operational environment in accounting and finance which prepares them to exploit the new and fresh opportunities in accounting domain.
