Prolific Experience at CLG

The aim of College of Law and Governance is to prepare the women with ample legal knowledge so that they not only work for the welfare of society but also know when and how to defend their own rights. Nowadays the lawyers can get jobs outside of courts too. There are a variety of options available to them like working for Multinational companies, law firms, business houses etc. In order to prepare the women to take up these challenging roles, CLG provides training and a huge library to make their experience productive and prolific.

The judges from Supreme Court and High Court visit the college for seminars. The students get to interact with them and learn from them. The girls also visit High Court and Supreme Court to learn from the practical proceedings. The students get to complete internship from Top Law Colleges in India.

One of its kind Library
The CLG College has a separate library which offers over four thousand books including international journals, magazines. The library boasts of an exceptional set of All India Reporter (editions from 1914 to 2013). It also possesses The Reports of Law Commission of India (28 volumes), Rajasthan Local Laws (45 volumes), Encyclopedia of Central Acts (22 volumes), Encyclopedia of Statues Rules and Regulations of Central Act (35 volumes), full set of Indian Bar Review, Annual Survey of Indian Law since 1968, Framing of the Indian Constitution (5 volumes), and Moore’s Indian Appeal & Indian Appeals (1837 to 1950). Moreover, it has some excellent treatises like Halsbury’s Laws of India (48 volumes), Sacred Books of East (50 volumes), Advance Law Lexicon (4 volumes), International Encyclopedia of Cyber Laws, Encyclopedia of Intellectual Property Law.

Owing to these and many more facilities Mody University’s College of Law and Governance is considered to be one of the prestigious LAW College in Rajasthan.
