Life’s too short to wear boring clothes - College of Fashion Design and Merchandising

“I have enough clothes and shoes, I don’t need to go to shopping” said no woman ever.
Fashion is indeed the new essential of the day. No more it is considered to be just for the ones in glamour industry, but it’s learnt by people as an impactful expression of one’s personality that backs ones words and actions. Like the same shoe can’t fit all, fashion isn’t about making a jazzy snazzy outfit that can be worn by anyone and everyone, but it’s about understanding the personality and crafting something that can enhance one’s identity.

There is a spectrum altogether where we see the significance of fashion in day to day life these days; on one hand where somewhere in a subtle way, fashion has become a prominent element of every corporate, there on the other hand ‘a good fashion sense’ has become a common phrase as a quality one wants in ones partner. To cut the explanation short, let’s just understand, fashion is here to stay. And to suffice the need of the hour, Designers are introduced to the mankind. Also, thankfully, there are contributors of mankind as well. Mody University, one of the Top Women’s University in India has now become a destination for fashion industry aspirants. It’s one of the few Deemed Universities in India  that has college for fashion design along with other major courses.

Fashion domain being the sought-after career option for the young brigade, Mody University has introduced College of Fashion Design and Merchandising (CFDM). CFDM is committed to prepare budding and industry-ready fashion designers and merchandisers, eager to carve out a niche for themselves, for the ever-dynamic fashion industry. Being one of the best women universities in Rajasthan it also stands out as a safe and secure university.

The college holds different courses catering to different interests seen amongst youth and demand identified in the fashion industry. Bachelors in Fashion Designing (BFD), Bachelors in Fashion and Merchandising (BFM) are the courses for the new-be in this domain where as Masters in Fashion Design (MFD), Masters in fashion merchandising (MFM), Post Graduation Diploma in Fashion Merchandising (P.G Dip. FM) are the courses for the ones who already have that fashion seed in them and are looking out for an apt environment to reap that seed the best.
